When I look at this graphic, I can almost recapture that feeling of freedom. It’s like I’m so close but it’s not 100% satisfying. That feeling is what I long to (literally) chase again. Often, I lie in bed at night thinking about how cool the run will be tomorrow.
There is definitely something to being addicted to it. I quickly notice the detox when I don’t run, it messes with my attitude and physical well-being.
